A four-stringed instrument
of the violin family,
pitched lower than the viola but higher than the double bass.
I began
playing the cello at the age of seven and a half ... in the third
grade. My mother had to beg the principal to allow me to join the
class because you had to be in the fourth grade before they would
let you into the class This was shortly after I started learning
the piano.
I was fortunate to attend a public school that still had a
strings program and I continued to pursue the cello at the
university upon graduation.
I am still participating in the music program at the University
of Hawaii and I also perform in a quartet. We are called the
Cantabile Strings. Need music for your wedding, birthday party,
