Another test for you ... Do you recognize these cars?

1893 Benz Viktoria

"Victoria", Karl Benz exclaimed in 1893 when he succeeded in developing a king-pin steering system which allowed the front wheels of a cornering vehicle to turn at different angles. That was how the new model incorporating this system got its name.

1955 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL

In 1955, the 300 SL was joined by a "smaller brother", the 190SL. It was described by contemporaries as ".a strikingly good-looking car with the manner and looks of a sports car, without the performance. The ideal vehicle for sporting ladies..."

1971 Mercedes-Benz 280 SE 3.5 Cabriolet

Today, these large convertibles and coupés are sought after by collectors. The powerful 8-cylinder engine and the elegant styling of the coachwork makes these cars desirable.

1964 Mercedes-Benz 230 SL Roadster

This car was presented in 1963 as successor to the 190 SL. Besides outstanding engineering and performance, it had an unusually shaped removable hardtop. It became known as the "pagoda roof", which was soon a standard for the ensuing SL-series.
Of the above, we only have the '63 190SL, '68 280SE, and a '71 280SL. You may see these vintage cars at our home anytime ... if they're not being used. We also have non-vintage 450SLC, 450SE and a 300D. We used to have a 230S and a 300TD, but that's another story.
My own preference is my Nissan Sentra. I don't really care to drive a Mercedes but I won't get into that at this time.
